Great Bay Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our well-established progressive small animal practice in beautiful Durham New Hampshire. Youll be joining a collaborative and supportive team of experienced veterinarians averaging 20 years in practice along with a highly skilled support staffmany of whom have been with us for over a decade. We foster a positive nurturing environment that encourages learning mentorship and professional growth.
About Our Practice
Our recently upgraded facility is fully equipped with modern technology and thoughtfully designed to support high-quality medicine and workflow efficiency. The hospital features:
- 5 fully equipped exam rooms
- Dedicated surgical suite
- Separate dental suite
- Advanced diagnostic equipment including digital X-ray dental X-ray ultrasound Tonopen cold laser therapy and state-of-the-art anesthetic monitoring
- Boarding Facility and Doggy Daycare
We are a 99% companion animal practice with some exotic patients.

We pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive care with access to a strong network of specialists:
- Boarded internist providing abdominal ultrasounds & Boarded cardiologist visiting regularly
- Board-certified surgeon available on request
- Acupuncture services available
Additionally we benefit from proximity to a veterinary diagnostic laboratory just one mile away allowing for rapid turnaround on cytology and other diagnostics.
