Position Summary
The Client Systems Administrator provides hands-on IT support in a secure mission-critical environment supporting government programs. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable compliant and fully operational classified and unclassified systems ensuring end users have the technology needed to execute sensitive operational and analytical work.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support classified and unclassified IT systems including user accounts peripherals and system access

  • Install configure upgrade and troubleshoot hardware software and operating systems

  • Process new user account requests within required timelines

  • Diagnose and resolve IT incidents by applying corrective actions workarounds or escalating to enterprise IT support as required

  • Monitor system performance to ensure system availability security and operational readiness

  • Maintain accurate inventories of IT hardware and software in accordance with government asset management policies

  • Provide technical guidance and user support for system capabilities and limitations

  • Ensure systems comply with applicable cybersecurity information assurance and accreditation requirements

  • Coordinate with internal and external IT stakeholders to align with security and operational policies

Qualifications
Required:
  • Minimum 2 years of Information Technology experience

  • Security certification (or ability to obtain within a defined onboarding period)

  • Completion of required cybersecurity awareness training

  • Experience supporting secure regulated or high-compliance IT environments

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting classified government IT systems

  • Familiarity with government IT asset management and compliance frameworks

  • Experience with system accreditation cybersecurity compliance or IA-related activities

  • Prior experience supporting mission-critical or operational government programs
