Schedule: MondayFriday 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
Pay: $20$22 per hour
No weekends required
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support students in a Special Education (SPED) school setting. This PRN role offers flexibility while making a meaningful impact on students daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with instructional objectives behavioral strategies and IEP goals
- Support students with academic activities daily living skills and social development
- Work with students in both individual and group settings
- Monitor students to ensure safety and proper use of equipment
- Observe document and maintain student records in accordance with federal and state guidelines
- Assist with personal care needs including toileting feeding lifting and hygiene
- Transport students to activities or appointments as needed
- Participate in training sessions and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Active CNA license/certification
- Ability to work with children in a school or special education setting preferred
- Compassionate patient and reliable
- Ability to perform physical duties as required
