Clerical Assistant Job Description:

The Clerical Assistant at Au Natural Organics will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operations of the company. This role involves handling various clerical tasks maintaining records organizing schedules and assisting with office operations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented organized and a strong communicator.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the management team including scheduling meetings answering phone calls and handling correspondence.
  • Document Management: Maintain and organize company files documents and records both physically and digitally ensuring accessibility and compliance with company policies.
  • Data Entry & Record-Keeping: Input and update customer orders inventory levels and other business records into our databases.
  • Office Organization: Assist in maintaining a well-organized office environment by managing supplies equipment and ensuring all areas are neat and efficient.
  • Communication: Serve as a point of contact for customers suppliers and internal teams handling inquiries and directing requests to the appropriate parties.
  • Customer Support: Assist with customer service tasks such as order tracking product information and addressing basic customer inquiries.
  • Inventory Management: Help track inventory levels process orders and update records to ensure smooth product management.
  • Filing & Reporting: Assist with the preparation of reports and presentations by gathering necessary data and organizing materials.
  • Event Coordination: Provide support for company events product launches and promotional activities ensuring all logistics are managed efficiently.
  • Office Equipment: Assist in managing office equipment ordering supplies and liaising with vendors for office-related needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Clerical Assistant Administrative Assistant or in a similar administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with office equipment such as printers fax machines and phone systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for sustainability and organic products is a plus.
