Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join a skilled nursing and patient care team in Newport Vermont. This role is ideal for an experienced LPN who is patient-focused adaptable and committed to delivering high-quality care in a contract setting.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Monitor assess and document patient conditions reporting any changes promptly
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) while ensuring comfort and safety
Maintain accurate timely and compliant patient documentation
Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
Adhere to all state regulations infection control standards and facility protocols
Educate patients and families on care plans as appropriate
Qualifications
Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Vermont (or eligibility to practice)
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification
Strong clinical communication and documentation skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a travel/contract healthcare environment
Professional reliable and patient-centered approach to care
