Position Summary
The OFAC BSA Specialist I is responsible for investigation and approval of level one OFAC sanctions and other list screening suspect matches. Escalates close or complex OFAC sanctions matches. Participates in departments special projects. The position supports the overall BSA compliance efforts as required under the Bank Secrecy Act the USA Patriot Act and the banks BSA/AML/OFAC Compliance Program
What Youll Do
- Investigate and analyze level one suspect matches from OFAC sanctions and other list screening. Escalate close or complex matches to the BSA Specialist II or the Senior BSA Specialist.
- Contribute to departments assignments and special projects.
- Provide other assistance as requested to the BSA/AML Officers in the daily responsibilities of managing the Banks BSA/AML and OFAC Compliance Program.
Qualifications:
- 2 - 3 years banking experience and 1 -2 years BSA experience.
- Working knowledge of various laws regulations and guidance as it relates to BSA AML and OFAC.
- Strong communication problem solving and time management skills.
- ACAMS Sanctions Compliance Foundations Certificate required after hire
- Bachelors degree is preferred.

Compensation:
The estimated hourly rate for this role is $24.04 - $31.25 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual pay rate may vary based on several factors such as a candidates qualifications skills and experience.
