Job Summary:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers managing existing accounts and achieving defined sales targets. This role requires a proactive customer-focused professional with strong communication and negotiation skills to identify opportunities and deliver effective sales solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new business through lead identification cold calling networking referrals and market research
Manage and grow relationships with existing and prospective customers
Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products or services
Achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales targets
Prepare and deliver sales presentations proposals and quotations
Negotiate pricing contracts and successfully close sales deals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in SFDC systems
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor market trends competitor activities and provide market insights
Ensure timely payment collection and address customer issues effectively.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in business Marketing or a related field
510 years of experience in sales account management or business development
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Strong communication presentation and negotiation skills
Customer-centric mindset with strong relationship-building abilities
Experience using CRM systems preferably Salesforce (SFDC)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of market dynamics and competitive landscapes
