About the team and the role:
The eBay Partner Network (EPN) sits within eBays Performance Marketing group and plays a key role in driving traffic and new buyers through one of eBays largest and most impactful marketing channels. The EPN Business Development team focuses on expanding this ecosystem by building strategic partnerships with large high-impact partners.
As a Senior Manager Business Development for the EU region you will lead end-to-end deal execution for strategic partnerships across European markets. This role reports to the Global Head of Partner Management and has a direct impact on EPNs growth visibility and performance across the region. You will work closely with cross-functional teams while operating independently in a fast-paced evolving environment.
What you will accomplish:
Grow EPNs EU partner ecosystem by identifying negotiating and launching large strategic partnerships aligned with eBays business goals.
Own the full business development lifecycle from opportunity identification through deal execution and launch.
Design and execute a partner recruitment strategy to achieve defined growth targets across European markets.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline providing clear updates and progress reporting to internal stakeholders.
Represent EPN Business Development externally acting as a trusted point of contact for prospective partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure partnerships are successfully structured launched and scaled.
Monitor market and industry trends to recommend new partnership and growth opportunities.
What you will bring:
Bachelors degree in business administration marketing or a related field or equivalent experience.
3 years of experience in business development strategic partnerships or a related role.
Experience navigating the EU partner landscape including publishers ISVs and OEMs.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into practical business decisions.
Confidence leading negotiations client-facing discussions and presentations.
Proven ability to work independently manage multiple priorities and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English and German with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in performance marketing particularly affiliate marketing is a plus.
