The SolidCAD Marketing Team oversees field and go-to-market marketing initiatives across Canada operating within Symetris global organization while supporting regional sales business development and growth objectives. Position Summary
The Field Marketing Specialist is a highly organized execution-focused role within the SolidCAD Marketing Team responsible for owning and leading all field marketing initiatives across Canada.
This role plans coordinates and executes in-person and hybrid marketing activities including tradeshows conferences executive events roadshows webinars and regional campaigns. The Field Marketing Specialist is accountable for end-to-end event execution including logistics vendor coordination marketing material management on-site support and post-event reporting.
This position requires strong judgment attention to detail and the ability to independently manage priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives. The role also requires regular travel to support events and the ability to work from the office when required to coordinate shipments manage inventory and prepare marketing materials in advance of events.

Department: SolidCAD Marketing (Canada part of Symetri global organization)
Role Type: Specialist / Individual Contributor
Work Model: Hybrid with travel and in-office presence as required for event execution
Core Responsibilities
1. Field Marketing & Event Ownership
Own the planning and execution of all field marketing initiatives across Canada
Lead the end-to-end delivery of:
oTradeshows and conferences
oExecutive and VIP events
oRegional roadshows
oWebinars and hybrid events
Develop detailed event plans timelines and execution checklists
Ensure all events are delivered on time on budget and aligned with brand standards
2. Event Logistics Travel & On-Site Execution
Coordinate all event logistics including:
oBooth rentals and layouts
oShipping and receiving of marketing materials
oVendor coordination and contracts
oOn-site setup execution and teardown
Travel to events to provide on-site marketing support as required
Work from the office when needed to:
oPrepare and pack event materials
oCoordinate shipments and inventory
oManage storage and organization of event assets
3. Marketing Materials & Inventory Management
Own the organization maintenance and distribution of:
oTradeshow booths and displays
oPrinted collateral
oBranded merchandise and giveaways
Maintain accurate inventory tracking and ensure materials are event-ready
Coordinate production and replenishment of materials as needed
4. Campaign Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with:
oDemand Generation (campaign alignment and lead capture)
oContent Marketing (event messaging and assets)
oSales and Business Development (event goals staffing and follow-up)
Support pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up activities
Ensure proper lead capture handoff and tracking in CRM systems
Partner with Sales and BD teams to ensure lead quality and alignment with event objectives
5. Budget Management Reporting & ROI
Manage event and field marketing budgets including:
oForecasting and expense tracking
oVendor invoices and cost reconciliation
Track and report on:
oEvent attendance
oMQLs generated
oNet new leads and accounts
oPipeline influence
Deliver post-event reports with insights and recommendations within defined timelines

Sales and Business Development teams trust and rely on field marketing execution
Marketing materials and inventory are well-organized accessible and event-ready
Post-event reporting is timely accurate and actionable
Qualifications & Experience
35 years of experience in field marketing event marketing or experiential marketing
Proven experience owning and executing events end to end
Strong organizational planning and logistics management skills
Comfortable traveling for events and working on-site as required
Experience working cross-functionally with marketing sales and vendors
Detail-oriented proactive and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
B2B professional services or technology industry experience preferred
Couple of details for these:
Marketing Specialist needs to be in Ontario preferably GTA due to events and set-up
to travel for event set-up for tradeshows & associations
License required as travel is crucial for events
(They have to go to the office for shipping etc. and may have to work from there on those days)
expectation up to 72-77k
