The ideal candidate brings 1015 years of enterprise infrastructure experience with at least 5 years managing Novell/eDirectory environments and parallel depth in Active Directory administration and file server management. This is a senior-level specialist role not an entry or mid-level position. The candidate must understand both the source environment (OES eDirectory NSS file systems) and other architectures (Windows Server with Active Directory Azure Files AWS FSx Sharepoint Online or Linux Samba) plus the complex permission mapping and migration methodology required to execute a clean transition across multiple business
Required:
- 7 years enterprise systems administration
- 3 years Novell OES/NetWare administration (5 preferred)
- 3 years infrastructure migration experience
- Bachelors degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum one relevant professional certification (Novell CNA/CNE Microsoft Azure Admin CompTIA Server or equivalent)
Required Technical Knowledge:
- eDirectory NSS file systems trustee rights LDAP
- File services DFS storage solutions
- Migration tools methodologies permission mapping
- Scripting (PowerShell Bash Python)
- Security compliance and audit logging fundamentals
Required Soft Skills:
- Technical and stakeholder communication
- Project management and scheduling discipline
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting mindset
- Meticulous documentation and testing approach

Support stakeholders with requests pertaining to the migration such as:
- Support to create G structure for 3-4 Divisions that are going to be part of a CR for H Migration (Paramedics for example)
- Activities to decommission/archive H G
- Support on G Migration discovery sessions requirements gathering sessions etc
- Support Potential increase on # of tickets for G once we start activities for migration
- Ffinalize the scope for J K L migration that should start in 2027
