Job Description

We are seeking a Part-Time Medical Office Coordinator with clinical expertise to oversee both administrative and patient care operations in the JFRD Health & Wellness Program. This role combines leadership clinical knowledge and operational oversight to ensure smooth workflow high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Examples of Work

Clinical Support & Coordination:

  • Oversees daily clinical operations and ensure efficient patient flow
  • Supports healthcare providers with scheduling patient intake and clinical documentation
  • Assists in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
  • Ensures compliance with clinical protocols HIPAA OSHA and other healthcare regulations
  • Coordinates health screenings vaccinations and routine clinical testing as needed
  • Facilitates communication between providers clinical staff and patients

Administrative & Operational Duties:

  • Manages administrative operations including patient check-in/out appointment scheduling and phone triage
  • Monitors clinic inventory medical supplies and equipment readiness
  • Implements and maintains office and clinical policies and procedures

Patient Experience & Compliance:

  • Addresses patient inquiries concerns and service needs professionally
  • Ensures clinical documentation is accurate timely and compliant with all regulations
  • Maintains a high standard of patient confidentiality and professional conduct


Open Requirements/Supplemental Information

  • Three (3) years of education and/or experience in medical office administration or healthcare management.
  • Must have knowledge of medical terminology clinical workflows and HER/EMR systems.
  • Associate degree or higher in Health Services Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Paramedic RN or other clinical background strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational multitasking and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with office software (Word Excel Google Workspace)
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in occupational health urgent care or multi-provider clinics
  • Supervisory or management experience in a clinical setting
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and understanding of patient care processes
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • High attention to detail accuracy and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to balance clinical and administrative priorities in a fast-paced environment
