As a Locum MD/DO in Hematology Oncology you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with blood disorders and cancers. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and contribute to our mission of delivering innovative treatment solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with hematological and oncological conditions
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in patient education and support programs
- Stay current with advancements in hematology and oncology
- Adhere to all medical protocols and ethical guidelines
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Associate-level experience in Hematology Oncology
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in hematology and oncology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and treatment
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
Flexible Scheduling: Monday-Friday 8a-5:30p
Call: Rotating every 4th-5th week
Level III trauma facility
Daily Volume: 15-18
Setting: Primarily outpatient
Patient Mix: 70% Oncology 30% Hematology
EMR: Cerner
APP support available
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
