Job Summary

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior Sales & Marketing professional with strong exposure to the steel manufacturing industry to drive regional sales growth manage key accounts and strengthen market presence across North & Central Karnataka.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for steel products (TMT bars billets sponge iron structural steel etc.)

  • Drive B2B and channel sales across Karnataka and neighbouring regions

  • Manage and grow dealer distributor and institutional client networks

  • Handle key accounts large industrial buyers EPC contractors and infrastructure clients

  • Forecast sales prepare annual budgets and achieve volume & revenue targets

  • Monitor market trends competitor activity and pricing strategies

  • Coordinate with plant operations logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.

  • Lead mentor and manage the regional sales team

  • Represent the company in trade meets industry events and client negotiations



Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1015 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the steel / metal / heavy industry

  • Strong understanding of steel products pricing and market dynamics

  • Proven experience in dealer management and institutional sales

  • Excellent negotiation communication and leadership skills

  • Experience handling Karnataka markets especially BellaryHospet belt preferred

  • Ability to travel extensively within the region


Educational Qualification

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering / Business / Marketing

  • MBA (Sales & Marketing) is an added advantage


Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Background from steel plants rolling mills or integrated steel manufacturers

  • Strong local market knowledge and established industry connections

  • Results-driven strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
