Role Overview
We are looking for a senior Sales & Marketing professional with strong exposure to the steel manufacturing industry to drive regional sales growth manage key accounts and strengthen market presence across North & Central Karnataka.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales & marketing strategies for steel products (TMT bars billets sponge iron structural steel etc.)
Drive B2B and channel sales across Karnataka and neighbouring regions
Manage and grow dealer distributor and institutional client networks
Handle key accounts large industrial buyers EPC contractors and infrastructure clients
Forecast sales prepare annual budgets and achieve volume & revenue targets
Monitor market trends competitor activity and pricing strategies
Coordinate with plant operations logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
Lead mentor and manage the regional sales team
Represent the company in trade meets industry events and client negotiations
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience
1015 years of experience in Sales & Marketing within the steel / metal / heavy industry
Strong understanding of steel products pricing and market dynamics
Proven experience in dealer management and institutional sales
Excellent negotiation communication and leadership skills
Experience handling Karnataka markets especially BellaryHospet belt preferred
Ability to travel extensively within the region
Educational Qualification
Preferred Candidate Profile
Background from steel plants rolling mills or integrated steel manufacturers
Strong local market knowledge and established industry connections
Results-driven strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
