About The Role

We are currently seeking a Payroll Practice Lead to manage our team of high-performing Payroll consultants and portfolio of Oracle Cloud Payroll implementations.

As a Principal Payroll Consultant at Namos you will be at the forefront of our projects leading teams by example and managing client relationships while championing best practice and delivery excellence within your payroll team.

Your role will involve overseeing the implementation of Oracle Cloud Payroll solutions ensuring seamless integration with other Oracle Cloud HCM modules and providing innovative high-quality business outcomes to our diverse client base. You will also be heavily involved in pre-sales inputting into demos responses estimation and other bid preparation.

About You

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Successfully delivered several Payroll projects (with at least 2 being in the UK and Oracle Cloud Payroll) with strong expertise in UK Payroll pensions and legislation.
  • Led and managed Payroll projects taking full ownership of the module implementation resulting in successful outcomes (both for the customer and on time/within budget)
  • An understanding of how Payroll fits into the whole ERP design and relationship with other Oracle Cloud HCM modules
  • Demonstrable leadership experience - being able to motivate and manage your team rewarding success recognising and delegating development opportunities and fostering a team of thought leaders with domain expertise
  • Conducted pre-sales activities including demos and expert consultations
  • Collaborated with clients and colleagues throughout the project lifecycle building strong and lasting relationships
  • Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to liaise with clients at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Payroll for the UK
  • Experience of Pensions UK Legislation RTI auto-enrolment multiple assignment workers etc
  • Strong configuration skills in Fast Formula element design payroll process flows calculation cards and approvals
  • Able to lead the customer through the Payroll implementation including Payroll Parallel Runs guiding the other team members and taking responsibility for the delivery of the module
  • Experience in Absence and how this interacts with Payroll
  • Able to evangelise for Namos by attending Oracle events (e.g. AI World) and through creating content for use in blogs case studies and other material

Desired Skills:

  • Experience of OTL Compensation and Benefits modules
  • Oracle Cloud certifications and specialisations completed
  • Understanding of payroll data objects to support data migration
  • Experience of Local Government payroll and pensions e.g. LGPS TPS MCR
