ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated WASHBAY / YARD LABOURER to join our team. This hands-on role involves cleaning and maintaining plant and equipment to ensure they are presentable and ready for re-hiring as well as managing the overall wash bay work schedule. If you enjoy working with machinery and take pride in a clean organised facility this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Experience operating small plant such as 1T excavators is an advantage

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maneuver equipment in and out of the wash bay area safely
Jet wash and clean civil plant equipment and machinery
Inspect equipment for damage and promptly report to the supervisor
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the wash bay and yard area
Adhere to company Environmental Policies
Assist with managingthe overall wash bay work schedule efficiently
Use of forklift to load and unload trucks (if licenced)
Perform general yard cleaning duties as required

BENEFITS:

Consistent daytime hours: 6:45 AM to 2:51 PM Monday to Friday
$34.68 per hour Casual
Ongoing Casual Role - Not Day to Day

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Experience in manual labour and safe manual handling
Current forklift licence (Preferrable)
Familiarity with operating plant and equipment such as pad-rollers and small excavators - Ticketsnot required
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
A proactive approach towards environmental and workplace safety policies
