Job Summary
Ventia is managing the Western Roads Upgrade (WRU) project in Victoria which is a 20-year contract that includes asset management rehabilitation and maintenance services for over 260 kilometres of urban road network in Melbournes west.
Ventia are seeking a Multi skilled Crew Worker / Traffic Controller / Labourer to join the team based out of Laverton Victoria.
The shifts available are:
- Day shift - Monday to Friday
7:30am to 4.00pm
- Night shift - Monday to Thursday
7.00pm to 5.00am
This role will be responsible to:
- Control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat
- Asphalting sign repairs concreting vegetation Maintenance pit repairs emergency callouts pavement cleaning yard clean up
- Implement traffic management plans
- Liaise with the client on arrival at site to ensure the requirements needed are as per the traffic management plan.
- Document any required site alterations to the Traffic Management Plan.
- Document any aftercare signage and or equipment required to be left on site at completion of the job on the traffic management plan.
- Ensure all equipment is reloaded onto the vehicle as per procedure and is positioned in a tidy and safe manner.
Along with a can-do attitude we are require that you have the following:
- Current Traffic Control tickets
- OHS Construction Industry White Card
- TMA ticket (ideal)
- HR licence
