About the Role
Tinterns performing arts program is an integral part of the schools culture fostering confidence creativity and personal excellence in students. Through participation in a supportive yet challenging environment students are encouraged to extend themselves artistically building resilience self-esteem and a strong sense of achievement. The performing arts play a significant role in the extracurricular life of Tintern students enriching their educational experience and strengthening the wider school community.
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Director of Productions to commence Term 2 2026. This is a 3-year tenured position of responsibility with ongoing Secondary teaching ongoing.
The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for engaging and inspiring students of all abilities across Years 7 12 with subject matter expertise that can be applied to this position. They will have a track record of excellence in directing large scale school productions and contributing enthusiastically to the broader positive culture of the school. Flexibility and initiative are intrinsic to this role. Industry experience would be highly regarded.
Position in Context
The Director of Productions is a key contributor to the school reporting to the Head of Performing Arts. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Performing Arts and the Musical Director to successfully stage the annual school Musical Production and the Middle School Production. This position will have an appropriate time and monetary allowance.
