Job Summary

The Director of Marketing & Recruitment assumes primary responsibilities for researching strategizing and implementing the latest marketing and recruitment approaches for the college in support of all undergraduate and graduate programs. The Director leads a team effort in collaboration with administrators faculty program directors and academic advisors to advance the college. The Director enhances the visibility of the college by overseeing the Colleges web and social media presence and organizing recruitment events. The Director of Marketing & Recruitment ensures all marketing and recruitment objectives align with College and University standards.

$4531 - $5131 per month

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelors (or higher) degree in communications public relations business administration human relations marketing or related field.

2. Two (2) years (24 months) of full-time or part-time equivalent professional work experience in marketing analytics public relations communications brand management or a related professional area.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Masters degree in communications public relations business administration marketing; an equivalent combination of education and professional experience preferably in an institution of higher education.

2. Successful supervisory and staff development experience.

Work Hours

Core hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. Some evenings and weekends for events as needed.

Functional Expectations

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:
1. Effectively communicate on a daily basis.
2. Remain at a workstation for extended periods.
3. Move about in various locations across campus as needed to complete day-to-day work.

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
