Facility Maintenance Service - Distribution Center

Location: Olive Branch MS USA - 8745 Forest Hill Irene Road Suite 105

Shift: Monday to Friday- 6am-2:30pm. Note: shift subject to change. OT mandatory if required.

Job Summary:

McKessons temperature controlled Distribution Center in Olive Branch MS is currently hiring a Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician. This is a chance to work for a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare.

The distribution team is seeking an individual who has repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. This candidate should be able to communicate professionally with a wide range of groups from upper management to front line employees and possess an aptitude to learn quickly on conveyance systems.

This position offers a broad range of generalist tasks from building maintenance taking care of repairs of internal/external areas to overseeing and assisting with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment.

What You Will Need:

• Facility maintenance or service technician experience

• Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment

• Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools power tools conveyors forklifts pressure gauges voltmeters etc.)

• Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments

• Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical electrical millwright HVAC etc)

• Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA

• Work order experience

• Experience operating Power Equipment would be considered an asset. However location is willing to train those that are willing to learn but must be able to maintain certifications

• Openness to assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor to assisting to repair DC equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

• Includes standing sitting walking general labor ladder scissor lift & fork truck use climbing up to (4) story heights in a warehouse environment.

• May work at heights and in cold areas at times
