Software Engineer – Digital Clinic Platform

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Lead architecture and implementation of a greenfield care management platform using TypeScript across the stack
• Design clean maintainable APIs and data models that support complex clinical workflows â Build accessible performant UIs that work across web and mobile form factors
• Integrate with HOPCos shared patient service and messaging infrastructure
• Establish patterns for testing deployment and operational excellence in a healthcare context
• Collaborate with product clinical and operational stakeholders to translate care workflows into software
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering culture and technical standards
• Make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed quality and scope in a fast-moving environment
• Drive requirements clarity by working directly with clinical and operational stakeholderstranslating ambiguous needs into concrete technical plans

EDUCATION

• Bachelors degree in computer science electrical engineering computer engineering or a related degree.

EXPERIENCE

• 5 years experience working in a software development capacity. Experience in the medical field terminology and processes. Experience with HIPAA Security.

KNOWLEDGE

• Deep experience building and shipping production web applications end-to-end
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript ecosystems
• Experience with React or similar component-based UI frameworks
• Solid backend experience with including API design and data modeling
• Familiarity with cross-platform mobile delivery (Capacitor Ionic or similar web-to-native approaches)
• Comfort working with external integrations imperfect data and evolving requirements
• Proven ability to own technical direction while remaining hands-on
• Strong communication skills and experience working with non-technical stakeholders

SKILLS

• Familiarity with healthcare systems EHR integrations or regulated environments (HIPAA SOC 2)
• Experience consuming event-driven or message-based integration platforms
• Background in care management patient engagement or clinical workflow software
• Track record of building accessible mobile-first experiences
• Experience establishing technical standards on greenfield projects
• Experience with Python for existing data services pipelines or analytics
