Title : Software Test Engineer (Onsite)
Duration : 12 Months
Location : Fort Worth TX
Job Description:
- Review functional requirements and determine happy path and corner case scenarios to fully exercise each requirement
- Create software test scripts in Python or SWAT (Lockheed proprietary scripting language) to conduct safety-critical qualification testing
- Perform Software Quality Testing (SQT) onsite in laboratory environments
- Create Software Test Reports and host reviews with internal and external customers
- Work with the development team to diagnose software defects and update test scripts accordingly
- Contribute to test automation efforts by automating existing manual test cases
- Create and update automation pipelines
- Create and update Confluence dashboards using GitLab data
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Flex and adapt work schedule during formal testing based on test station availability
Must Have Requirements
- 5 years of Python scripting experience
- 5 years of functional test case development experience
Additional Required Skills
- 5 years of software development experience in a Linux environment
- 5 years of experience developing software on SUSE or RedHat Linux systems
- 2 years of experience authoring software requirements
- 2 years of experience with GitLab pipelines
- 2 years of experience using Jira for software development tracking
- 2 years of experience working in an Agile software development environment
