Core Responsibilities

In this role your main purpose will be to lead procurement for construction and utilities categories securing reliable supply strong supplier performance and sustainable commercial value for LEGO Production s.r.o. based mainly in Kladno but also in other areas within the Czech Republic.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Managing the local and regional supplier portfolio including sourcing contract management and vendor performance
  • Acting as a trusted procurement business partner to Facility/Construction and IM&S teams
  • Leading vendor platforms and sourcing processes to create a competitive compliant and high-performing supplier ecosystem
  • Driving cost optimization value creation and operational efficiency across assigned categories
  • Ensuring risk mitigation through robust contract coverage compliance ethical governance and cross-functional alignment (Finance Legal Operations)
  • Implementing LEGO quality delivery and performance management systems with external partners
  • Identifying and implementing innovations

This position is located in our Kladno manufacturing site and there is no relocation assistance offered for this role.

The Procurement team is part of the EMEA Packing Operations area. As our new Senior Procurement Specialist Construction you will join this team and report directly to the Senior Procurement Manager. We are looking for a proactive professional who brings fresh perspectives challenges the status quo and drives improvement with urgency openness and a strong innovation attitude.

Do you have what it takes

  • Strong technical and analytical attitude with the ability to understand construction utilities and project-driven environments
  • Proven experience in procurement sourcing sales or commercial negotiation (direct experience in construction and utilities procurement is a strong advantage)
  • Excellent communication negotiation and collaboration skills
  • Ability to build and manage positive relationships with internal partners and suppliers with a proactive problem-solving approach
  • Fluent in Czech and able to communicate in English at business level
  • Advanced user of MS Office tools (Excel Power BI PowerPoint Teams)
  • Experience with Coupa (sourcing/contracting) and/or SAP is an advantage
  • Great teammate with drive resilience and a continuous improvement approach
