Role Summary

This temporary role is responsible for providing Tier 1 HR services support for colleagues and managers in a high-volume process-driven HR environment. Based in Mexico City the role acts as the first point of contact for HR inquiries ensuring efficient execution of standardized processes exceptional customer service and adherence to company HR policies and regulatory requirements in LATAM.

The role supports the broader HR Service Delivery team and collaborates closely with Tier 2 specialists and regional HRS team to ensure seamless case resolution and a positive employee experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Centralized HR Support & Inquiry Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions through the companys ticketing system.
  • Provide accurate timely and consistent responses using HR knowledge bases and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Log manage and track inquiries ensuring proper documentation audit trails and data quality.
  • Meet defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for response accuracy case resolution and service quality.

2. HR Transactional Processing & Standardization

  • Execute standardized HR processes including onboarding offboarding employee data changes payroll inputs employment verification letters and background checks and learning administration.
  • Support absences processes and basic benefits administration aligned with LATAMs legal and company requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal HR procedures and LATAM labour regulations.
  • Identify improvement opportunities for knowledge base content and HR process efficiency.

3. Escalation & Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Assess inquiries to determine when escalation to Tier 2 HRS specialists or regional HRS team is required.
  • Ensure seamless follow-up and communication with escalated parties until cases are fully resolved.
  • Partner with internal teams to improve the employee experience and refine service delivery processes.


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Técnico Superior Associate Degree or Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology or related fields.
  • 12 years of experience in HR operations shared services customer service or administrative support preferably in a multinational or service center environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish; intermediate English preferred.
  • Experience using HRIS and ticketing systems (e.g. Oracle Workday SAP ServiceNow).

Preferred

  • Bachelors degree in HR or related field.
  • Experience in HR Shared Services Centers.
  • Familiarity with payroll benefits and talent acquisition operations.
