Job Summary

What youll need to succeed:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electronical Engineering Mechatronics or a comparable education

  • Blow molding or injection molding product design knowledge including welding and assembly is a strong plus

  • Fluent English required

What awaits you:

Develop customer product from first system concept through quoteprototyping validation and towards a fully released product in mass production

Ensure proactive requirements and risk management for all technical aspects

Ensure that customer specifications as well as cost targets design-to-manufacture and timing goals are met

Knowledge about and compliance to the customer specific requirements

Seek for and achieve customers buy in to utilize standardized development and validation testing if and where useful and applicable

Act as technical liaison between product development teams and the customer and all other internal functions like design manufacturing and industrialization

Supervise product testing including handling of hazardous substances interpretation of test results introduction of the necessary actions and modifications as required to ensure that all requirements are met

Support flawless launches by planning and controlling all technical issues related to assigned project and support the Program Manager in delivering highest quality solutions to our customers

Provide product engineering expertise in a professional manner during customer visits and audits with the team as well as in collaboration with other departments (e.g. manufacturing)

Act as a Technical Project Lead Engineer with responsibility for a technical team in small/medium complex projects
