We are already providing IT services and support to Alfa Laval companies around the world and we are now expanding our operations to meet future demands.

Alfa Laval has invested in a Global IT Delivery Centre in Pune with the vision to expand and deliver IT services as an extension to our global teams located in Sweden Denmark and the USA. We focus on cost-effective solutions and improved performance to create a unique Alfa Laval experience!

Who are we looking for

We are looking for a new member for our central Operations Applications & Infrastructure team as Sr OT Network & Linux Specialist with 10 years of experience to play a crucial role in developing monitoring configuring maintaining and supporting Alfa Lavals OT Network Infrastructure. You will work with development operations and continuous improvements according to SafeAgile and with incident and problem management according to ITIL 24/5 together with the team in Sweden.

We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills and keen technical interest driven and self-motivated to find creative solutions to complex problems and interested in mentoring and training others. You should have relevant and significant experience from similar roles in other global companies.

Requirements and Responsibilities

What we need:

Configure install and integrate Cisco Network Switches (Cisco) Cisco Firewalls (FPR1120) Rockwell Switches (Stratix) and other network devices.
Monitor network performance and integrity.
Fully support configure maintain and upgrade companys networks and Linux servers using Ansible management platform.
Troubleshooting and resolving network issues implementing security measures and proactively optimizing network performance.
Handle day to day LAN Connectivity.
Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting global and local infrastructure.
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness.
Mentor team members on technical issues.
Communicate with users when needed.
Suggest improvements to network performance capacity and scalability.
Contribute on development tasks as a part of the central Agile team.

Requirements and Skills:

Graduate preferably in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
CCNA or CCNP certification

Excellent Communication Skills i.e. Communication collaboration and curiosity is a must.
Proficient in Cisco Linux (Ubuntu) Ansible
Experience with Industrial Control Systems (ICS) Operational Technology (OT) networks and micro-segmentation.
Familiarity with IEC 62443 standards for Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS).
In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP OSPF)
Experience with network diagnostic monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools)
Sharp troubleshooting skills.
Willingness and eagerness to learn new systems/technology.
Great at organizing mentoring prioritizing and multitasking.
Experience with ITIL.

What we expect:

Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer orNetwork Administrator
Professional certification (e.g. CCNA CCNP)
Solid background in network administration and architecture
Cisco Firewall and FMC knowledge is preferred.
Monitor network performance (availability utilization throughput goodput and latency) and test for weaknesses.
Solid understanding of network- (Cisco IOS) and Linux- (Ubuntu) operating systems
Experience with managing equipment through Ansible.
Hands on experience in networking routing and switching.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Graduate preferably in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Experience with Proxy servers (Squid proxy IIS reverse proxy) and Claroty Secure Remote Access is an advantage.

Work Location: Pune

Working time: 24*5 shifts on rotation basis

Working Days: 5 days a week (3days WFO 2 days WFH)
