The purpose of this position is to perform coordinate and direct all maintenance/custodial activities of operations for our school buildings grounds and equipment.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

-Directly supervises the day to day activities of custodians to ensure a clean properly maintained and operationally safe environment for students and staff

-Evaluates effectiveness of custodial staff

-Coordinates custodial supervision for after hour events such as athletics dances etc.

-Ensures facility services and repairs are accomplished in a safe timely and proper manner

-Contacts vendors for quotes performs site walks with vendors and then forwards repair quotes to Executive Director for approval

-Inspects and monitors the completion of contracted services for repairs

-Oversees and monitors all utilities: water electrical sewer and gas

-Must maintain inventory of materials to carry out all custodial functions as well as inventory of supplies for cafeterias

-Will be on call 24hrs for repair or security concerns

-Coordinates all required inspections such as fire fire alarm system inspections sprinkler bleachers playgrounds etc.

-Assists with inclement weather and building emergency procedures

-Carries out additional duties as assigned by Administration

-This position is essential for daily school operations and requires in person attendance.
