The Project Support Assistant is responsible for administrative support to the Project Support/Supply Chain Team. This role reports to the Project Support Supervisor and takes daily instruction from the Project Support Supervisor produces quality administrative work in a timely manner while demonstrating integrity and ethics in all internal and external relationships and communications. This person is expected to work effectively as a team contributor while performing quality work within deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with Project Support Supervisor and Coordinator and Supply Chain Coordinator
- Email supplier for quotes file and update
- Work with Supply Chain to ensure materials get ordered/delivered in time to meet buffer/delivery dates.
- Change Order quoting
- Minor Purchasing/PO Revisions
- File POs BOL Tracking and Proof of delivery for all purchase orders.
- Assist with vendor set up process
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with peers management and suppliers at all levels.
- Protect confidential information by not communicating disclosing to or using for benefit of 3rd parties.
- Maintain the highest degree of honesty and integrity.
- Works with purchasing team members to ensure that all material purchases are being processed and are scheduled for timely delivery.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree from a two-year college or technical school with 3 years relevant experience is preferred (High School diploma along with 3 years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of two-year degree).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook is required.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Access is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience within an Engineering Project Management or Logistics function within the Electrical Utility industry is highly preferred.
- Must have excellent communication ability within all levels of the company.
- Strong background in Customer Service is highly preferred
