Project Manager Climate Resiliency
Duration: 3 Years
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Work mode: Remote (No travel required)
Interview: 1 phone screening and 2nd Video interview
Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to provide technical and project management support for integrating climate resiliency considerations into supported energy efficiency and building electrification projects. The Project Manager will serve as the primary climate resiliency point of contact for the Affordable Multifamily Program and will collaborate closely with internal teams contractors and building owners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide project-specific climate resiliency support to program managers contractors and building owners
- Participate in project scoping calls and respond to resiliency-related technical questions
- Coordinate with project managers and track key resiliency metrics including cost data
- Review contractor-submitted floodproofing and resiliency design documentation in coordination with technical staff
- Maintain and update resiliency-related program resources guidance documents and FAQs
- Identify common challenges across projects and support development of solutions to inform program strategy
- Aggregate and analyze project data to identify trends and support program decision-making
- Support refinement of climate resiliency integration strategy
- Provide additional support to Climate Resiliency Project Manager as needed including ad-hoc technical assistance and program documentation updates.
- The program is not Louch there 50 projects managing
- Construction project manager will prefer Climate Resiliency.
- Feature climate and Extreme heat.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven project management experience supporting design and construction projects
- Experience in creating maintaining and tracking project schedules and budgets
- Strong coordination and communication skills with multiple stakeholders including contractors building owners and officials
- Knowledge of residential and commercial building design
- General understanding of climate-resilient design principles particularly related to:
- Flood hazards
- Extreme heat
- Wind hazards
- Ability to review and evaluate contractor-submitted designs and specifications for resiliency measures
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialization in one or more of the following:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Structural systems
- Experience incorporating climate resiliency considerations into building design projects
- Familiarity with energy efficiency electrification or sustainability-focused programs
