Your Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist youll be a key point of contact for the People & Culture team and hiring leaders providing end-to-end recruitment support expert advice and a strong focus on candidate and stakeholder experience across a complex fast-paced project environment.
Youll:
Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle including advertising shortlisting interview coordination reference checks pre-employment screening and onboarding support
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver tailored strategic recruitment solutions
Develop and maintain internal and external talent pools proactive sourcing channels and relationships with recruitment agencies
Draft and publish job advertisements across internal and external platforms
Support onboarding activities including contract generation and system administration
Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment legislation organisational policies and governance requirements
Contribute to employer branding candidate experience initiatives and continuous improvement of recruitment processes
Produce accurate and timely recruitment reporting and analytics to support workforce planning and evidence-based decision making
Coordinate work experience and graduate programs and build relationships with tertiary institutions
Work closely with external recruitment firms and manage agency relationships as required

A qualification in Human Resources Business or a related discipline
Previous experience in talent acquisition ideally within a large complex or project-based environment
Strong knowledge of recruitment processes sourcing strategies and employment legislation
Experience sourcing hard-to-fill and highly specialised technical roles in competitive labour markets
Strong stakeholder management communication and influencing skills
A demonstrated focus on delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
Experience working with applicant tracking systems or HRIS
Well-developed Microsoft Office skills (Word Excel Outlook)
A collaborative proactive and customer-focused mindset
High levels of professionalism confidentiality and attention to detail
Experience in utilities or large infrastructure projects will be highly regarded but is not essential.
