Job Description Summary
Implements a college wide recruiting program that supports the mission inclusion and enrollment goals of the college specializing in outreach to all prospective student populations and community and educational partners. Works with college constituents to create effective recruiting campaigns. Provides regular recruiting activity and outcome reports.
Duties
1. Represents the college to prospective students parents secondary school counselors and other individuals businesses and organizations involved in the college selection process. 2. Designs coordinates and contributes to the success of broad student and community visitation programs virtual and in-person special events and activities. 3. Works with Enrollment Services Department to assure easy applicant transition to the college including providing comprehensive enrollment services to students. 4. Serves as the Colleges primary administrator of the Communications Recruitment and Marketing ( CRM ) platform (such as Watermark Enterprise); spearheading the development and execution of communication strategies to promote and facilitate student enrollment during their lifecycle in the process. 5. Collaborates with the Director of Enrollment Services Director of Financial Aid Coordinator of High School Recruitment and the Foundation to coordinate and deliver scholarship workshops and targeted outreach campaigns at area high schools across College departments and in the greater community to increase awareness and participation in available scholarship programs. 6. Partners with the Enrollment Services Foundation and Financial Aid teams to promote scholarship opportunities to adult learners and continuing education students leveraging College and community events student engagement channels and high-impact communication strategies. 7. Serves as a liaison between the Foundation the College and prospective students high school counselors and community stakeholders to increase scholarship visibility and support student access. Attends recruitment and community engagement events including evenings and weekends as needed to represent the College and promote scholarship programs . 8. Communicates with internal and external partners (e.g. high schools community organizations etc.) about the scholarship opportunities and application process including working with Financial Aid to promote the completion of the current scholarship application platform as well as any future supplemental materials for scholarships that require the collection of additional information required to determine eligibility for specific scholarships and ensures students are informed of additional steps needed to access these scholarship funds. 9. Utilizes and implements resources such as web sites social media and workshops to help students prepare for college. 10. Maintains awareness of new programs courses and opportunities for students and community partners. 11. Provides enrollment and liaison services to prospective current and returning students. 12. Utilizes recruiting technology and customer relationship management software. 13. Compiles analyzes and reports recruitment data in response to the strategic enrollment needs of the college using a Customer Relationship Management tool which documents and tracks prospective students. Reports recruitment data to Director of Enrollment Services and Coordinator of Admissions. 14. Provides strong student advocacy as demonstrated through a positive attitude of approachability inclusion adaptability problem-solving and support of student success. 15. Represents A-B Tech through a thorough knowledge of the colleges academic programs and services. 16. Organizes and conducts campus tours. 17. Contributes to the College Vision Mission Values and RISE statement. 18. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects. 19. Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
1. One year full-time or equivalent work experience in recruiting or student services in a community college setting. 2. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish an East Slavic language and/or American Sign Language.
