Job Summary
KRON4 News in San Francisco is looking for a Multimedia Journalist/Reporter to join the KRON4 Evening Team. This full-time position includes reporting for the evening news on weekends and some weekdays. KRON4 produces more local news than any other station in the San Francisco Bay Area. Were looking for a journalist who is passionate about telling the stories that matter to the community and has experience covering breaking news. Responsibilities of the position include pitching stories writing editing and reporting live.
This is a regular full-time union position.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of three years of daily television news experience in reporting live shooting and reporting stories
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be an excellent storyteller.
- Ability to originate research write shoot produce and edit stories.
- Ability to work well with people in a high-pressure environment.
- Maintain a polished professional appearance.
- Position may require employee to work early morning or late-night shift.
- Ideal candidates must be self-starters hard workers have great attitudes be versatile and efficient.
- Management reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as required.
Compensation: $49.49/HR to commensurate with experience and skill level
