Summary
Under the general direction of Department Managers Director and the daily direction of the Clinical Resource Person the Infusion Therapy Services (ITS) Unit Coordinator and Charge Capture Analyst is responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative tasks relating to operations of the department.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent(GED).
Certification Registration & Licensure
None required.

Responsibilities
Performs bi-weekly payroll submission and tracks employee paid time off benefits.
Performs a variety of clerical administrative and receptionist functions.
Maintains departmental supplies and ensures functioning equipment are available for use in the department.
Coordinates computer downtime coordinates patient information changes in the computer and manages electronic inventory.
Responsible for understanding the charge capture audit System tools and business procedure in order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the charge capture phase of the revenue cycle.
Responsible for scheduling and registering all patients to the ITS schedule including electronic entry of same day add-ons daily changes to the ITS schedule.
Provides assistance to the Clinical Resource Person for optimal flow of daily operations at the front desk area.
Provides assistance to staff and ancillary departments for coordination of patient information and care for daily and continued operations.
Demonstrates time management skills.
