Job Summary
Float Mental Health Workers under close supervision of the Staff Nurse participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors. Provides direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse. Assists in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Float Mental Health Worker! This positionis located on Sheppard Pratts main campus in Towson (Baltimore County). Float Mental Health Workers support at least twoservice lines. Theservice line assignment will be determined by the applicants experience/interest and organizational needs. Theservice lines are:
- Child & Adolescent Services
- Adult Services
- Geriatric Services
- Trauma Disorders
- Center for Eating Disorders
The pay range for this position is $19.06 minimum to $22.95 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to years and level of related experience.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED. Human Services related degree or past direct care or related experience strongly preferred.
- Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).
- All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.
