Position: Test Engineer- ETL Database Testing

Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented and motivated ETL Database Tester with strong expertise in Selenium to build and manage scalable efficient and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. Youll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights working closely with data scientists analysts and business teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Validate ETL workflows developed using Informatica and PySpark
Perform end-to-end data validation from source systems to target databases
Write and execute complex SQL queries for data reconciliation and validation
Validate transformations aggregations joins and business rules
Perform data quality checks (nulls duplicates referential integrity counts)
Test data loads on large datasets in distributed environments
Identify log and track defects; work closely with ETL developers and data engineers
Participate in requirement analysis test planning and test case design
Ensure compliance with data governance and validation standards.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must Have skills:
Strong experience in ETL Testing
Hands-on expertise in Informatica
Solid hands-on experience with PySpark
Advanced SQL skills (joins subqueries CTEs performance tuning)
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
Experience testing big data / distributed systems

Good to Have:
Exposure to Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS Hive)
Experience with data lakes
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
