We are a growing patient-centered skilled home health agency committed to clinical excellence regulatory compliance and compassionate care. We are seeking an experienced Home Health Care Administrator to lead daily operations ensure survey readiness and support sustainable growth.
Position Overview
The Home Health Care Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of the agency including clinical oversight coordination regulatory compliance staffing quality outcomes and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of a Medicare-certified skilled home health agency
- Ensure compliance with CMS state regulations and accreditation standards (CHAP)
- Maintain ongoing survey readiness and manage state or accreditation surveys
- Supervise and support clinical leadership including the Director of Nursing
- Oversee QAPI program corrective action plans and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure proper implementation of OASIS Plans of Care and physician orders
- Manage staffing hiring on-boarding training and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with billing intake and referral sources to support census growth
- Monitor financial performance budgets and operational efficiency
- Represent the agency professionally with referral partners physicians and regulators
Required Qualifications
- 25 years of experience in skilled home health leadership or administration
- Strong working knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation
- Experience with state surveys and/or accreditation surveys
- Understanding of clinical documentation OASIS and care coordination
- Proven leadership organizational and problem-solving skills
- Bachelors degree in healthcare administration nursing or related field (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Home Health Administrator or Director of Nursing
- Experience launching and scaling a home health agency
- Familiarity with CHAP accreditation
- Clinical background (RN preferred but not required)
