Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing implementing and maintaining health and safety programs and policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and maintain workplace health & safety programs
Ensure compliance with OSHA and local state and federal regulations
Conduct safety inspections audits and risk assessments
Investigate incidents accidents and near-misses and recommend corrective actions
Maintain safety records reports and training documentation
Lead safety training toolbox talks and new-hire orientations
Monitor PPE usage and support emergency response procedures
Assist with workers compensation and return-to-work programs
Serve as a resource for employee safety concerns

Qualifications

13 years of health & safety experience (manufacturing/industrial preferred)
Knowledge of OSHA standards and workplace safety practices
Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and safety reporting tools
Bachelors or Associates degree in Safety Health or related field preferred
CPR/First Aid and OSHA certifications a plus
