Job Summary
Premier Restoration Hawaii is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support and oversee daily accounting operations for our growing restoration and construction business. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting strong internal controls and efficient accounting processes across multiple entities.
What Youll Do
- Oversee daily accounting operations and transactional activities in compliance with GAAP
- Process vendor invoices and customer payments across multiple QuickBooks Online companies
- Review daily bank and credit card feeds; perform month-end bank reconciliations
- Manage job costing inventory rollforwards and expense coding to the general ledger
- Monitor Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable invoicing and cash receipts
- Prepare and support monthly Hawaii General Excise Tax (GET) filings
- Prepare month-end balance sheet and P&L analytics including variance analysis
- Support ERP and system integrations (QuickBooks Online Ramp IntegraRental DASH and others)
- Supervise and support accounting staff including reviewing work for accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in accounting projects system enhancements and process improvements
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field (required)
- CPA or equivalent certification (preferred)
- 24 years of public or general accounting experience
- 12 years of supervisory or lead experience (preferred)
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with QuickBooks Online and integrated accounting systems
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Work Environment
- Office/Warehouse setting
- Minimal travel required
Job Type: In-OfficeFull-time Monday through Friday typically 7:00 AM 4:00 PM (no remote work option)
