Attendance Team:
The attendance team is a central part of the schools pastoral structure and plays a crucial role in ensuring students are safe engaged and supported to attend school regularly. The attendance officer works closely with Heads of Year pastoral managers safeguarding staff and senior leaders to support students who face barriers to attendance.

Requirements
Experience working in a school attendance pastoral or administrative role (desirable but not essential)
Strong understanding of attendance procedures and the importance of safeguarding in education
Confidence communicating with parents/carers in a professional calm and assertive manner
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information
Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to time-sensitive tasks
Strong IT skills including experience using MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom desirable)
A supportive and solution-focused approach with a commitment to improving outcomes for young people
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider pastoral and safeguarding team
