WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
The SSC Accounting controller acts as a versatile accounting resource supporting multiple financial processes across departments within the finance team with an analytic mindset. This role thrives in a dynamic environment enjoys variety in daily tasks and can adapt quickly to support various finance functions such as accounts payable general ledger and financial reporting as well as leading cross-functional improvement projects.
Heres the main elements of the role...
Act as a flexible resource within finance supporting multiple processes across departments.
Participate in and improve monthly quarterly and annual closing processes.
Prepare documentation and data for internal and external audits.
Lead cross-functional projects and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and internal controls.
Provide support across various finance functions (e.g. AP AR GL reporting).
Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations.
Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as needed.
Work cross-functionally to ensure efficient processes and identify opportunities for improvement.

In this role you will report to the Head of E&I Accounting SSC and the location for this role is our HQ in Malmö.

WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE
5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced project environment.
Masters degree in Accounting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines.
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with financial systems (e.g. Dynamics 365) and MS Excel.
Fluent in Swedish and English both verbal and written.
