Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Front Desk Receptionist

Pay Range: $24.00-$27.00 PER HR

Reporting To: Human Resource Manager

Work Type: On-site

POSITION SUMMARY:

The receptionist is responsible for answering the telephones greeting and announcing visitors sorting the mail maintaining office equipment ordering office supplies and assisting the Director of Human Resources Manager in secretarial duties and general clerical support.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred.
  3. Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
  4. Excellent time management skills.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  6. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  7. Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  8. Highly organized and resourceful.
  9. Adept at prioritizing scheduling and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Proficient with Microsoft office (Word Power Point Excel)
  11. Customer-focused.
  12. Willingness to learn and grow with the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:

  1. General receptionist duties including answering telephone inquiries channeling calls taking messages and paging staff as directed.
  2. Greets clients visitors and guests; determines the purpose of each persons visits and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
  3. Establish and maintain a record-keeping system for GOTO employee directory.
  4. Managing meeting room availability.
  5. Receiving sorting distributing and dispatching daily mail and faxes.
  6. Handling transcription printing photocopying and faxing.
  7. Coordinating monthly luncheons at the main office and other events as needed.
  8. Ordering and maintaining office inventory such as stationery equipment breakroom supplies and snacks.
  9. Maintaining office equipment and tracking service as needed.
  10. Ordering of home office supplies for employees (desks chairs etc.).
  11. Creating and sending out employee badges.
  12. Communicating with the building manager and maintenance personnel as needed for repairs and other building related items.
  13. Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area.
  14. Assist the Human Resources department as needed.
  15. Accepts and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand sit talk hear reach stoop kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer telephone and keyboard on a frequent basis (up to 75% of the time).
  • Close vision requirements due to computer work.
  • Light to moderate lifting may be required (Up to 25lbs).
