About the Role
As a Works Planner within Nottingham City Councils Housing Services Voids Team you will play a key role in organising and coordinating repairs and maintenance activities to ensure empty homes are brought back into use efficiently. You will be responsible for planning daily workloads for trade operatives and contractors scheduling appointments and monitoring progress to ensure service targets are met.
Using a range of digital systems you will update appointment diaries manage variations track completed works and maintain accurate records. You will work closely with operatives contractors managers and tenants communicating clearly and professionally to resolve scheduling issues reorganise appointments and support the smooth running of the service.
The role also includes providing reliable administrative supportpreparing documentation maintaining spreadsheets and databases raising orders and assisting with meeting coordination. You will help new team members understand systems and processes and contribute to a positive customerfocused service culture.
