Hours: 39.75 Hour Week

As an Assistant Production Planner at Terex based in Omagh youll play a pivotal role in supporting the production of equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

What youll do:

Reporting to the Lead Production Planner you will assist in tactical & strategic planning activities to ensure that we achieve our weekly & monthly dispatch targets. This role will also provide support to the supply chain department in terms of planning queries purchase orders & part set up within our Oracle system.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Create weekly reports/KPIs for Production Control & Supply Chain.
• Responsible for set up and maintenance of Slotting and Production forecasts as per Sales and operations planning process to drive supply chain demand.
• Ensure sales order demand is continuously aligned with forecast and master production schedule.
• Assist in the monthly S&OP planning cycle.
• Ensure accuracy of Takt schedules including cut weld paint sub assembly & final assembly.
• Responsible for month-end work orders progression and ensuring completed machines are in Finished Goods.
• Root cause & investigate MRP planning queries.
• Assist the NPPD buyer with admin & expediting parts.
• Manage internal steel requisitions between Terex sites.
• Assist in managing the outsourcing projects across multiple Terex sites.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Good standard of education
• Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing industry
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle) would be preferable
• Creativity and innovative thinking

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills (attention to detail).
• Proven / Demonstratable user of MS Office packages in particular MS Excel

• A Can do attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional team.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
