Job Summary
You will report directly to our Manufacturing Engineering Manager and you will work out of our Mexicali location.
In this role you will make an impact by supporting manufacturing processes process improvements and compliance with safety regulations. Your contributions will drive increased efficiency reduced costs and improved product quality in our manufacturing operations and will be essential in securing present and future business by consistently meeting or exceeding product cost and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
Collaboration and support in:
Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes
Drive process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes
Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues
Support completion of First Article Inspections
Qualifications
Leadership teamwork and self-motivation
Willingness to learn and open to feedback
Hands-on approach and a proactive attitude
Passion for innovation and driving continuous improvement
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Bachelors degree students from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science technology engineering mathematics
Bachelors degree students in Mechanical Engineering Electronics Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Aerospace Engineering Cybernetics or a related field from an accredited institution
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English: Conversational Read and Write
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
CAD systems proficiency
Basic knowledge of automation control and PLC principles
Programming and User Interface design preferred
Basic knowledge of Six Sigma Lean principles and other continuous improvement methodologies
Experience with MRP systems (SAP)
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Decision making Analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in manufacturing engineering
