Job Summary

Job Title: Manager Demand & Inventory Planning

Industry: Manufacturing (FMCG Consumer Durables Chemicals or Industrial preferred)

Please find the below skills sets.

Statistical Forecasting: Proficiency in moving averages exponential smoothing and trend analysis. They should understand Forecast Error metrics like MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error) and Bias.
Inventory Optimization: Knowledge of ABC/XYZ analysis safety stock calculations and DOH (Days on Hand) management.
Software Proficiency: * Advanced Excel: Pivot tables VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs and complex formulas are the bare minimum.
- ERP/APS Systems: Experience with tools like SAP (APO/IBP) Oracle Demantra Blue Yonder or Kinaxis.
- Visualization: Ability to use Power BI or Tableau to present data to non-technical stakeholders.
