Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Skilled Nursing Facility (Day Shift) Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Day Shift Sunday Monday and Tuesday (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. The LVN will provide direct resident care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse ensuring continuity of care through medication administration clinical support and supervision of CNAs and support staff.
Key Responsibilities -
Assess plan and implement resident care under RN supervision

Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders

Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents
-
Supervise CNAs and support staff to ensure quality care delivery
-
Accurately document care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
-
Communicate effectively with residents families interdisciplinary teams and external agencies

Maintain compliance with facility policies procedures and regulatory standards
Qualifications -
Active California LVN license (required)

Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care experience (required)

Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

Current BLS certification

Ability to pass nursing medical competency testing

Strong verbal and written English communication skills

Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
