Registered Nurse (RN) ICU/CCU (Night Shift) Job Type: Contract
Shift: Night Shift (NOC) 12-hour shifts
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced ICU/CCU Registered Nurse to support a Level II Trauma Center on the night shift. This role requires strong critical care skills adaptability and prior travel experience. The RN must be comfortable floating to other units including Med/Surg as needed to support patient care operations.
Key Responsibilities -
Provide high-quality evidence-based nursing care to critically ill ICU/CCU patients

Monitor assess and document patient conditions and responses to treatment

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and clinical protocols
-
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
-
Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR
-
Float to other units including Med/Surg as operational needs require

Maintain compliance with hospital policies procedures and regulatory standards
Qualifications -
Active California RN license (required)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)

Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU experience

Prior travel nursing experience (required)

Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Ability to work night shifts and weekends/holidays as scheduled

Strong clinical judgment communication and critical-thinking skills
