Job Summary

POSITION: Vice President Construction Management

COMPENSATION:Pursuant to state regulations the salary range is $160000-$170000 plus bonus potential. âEligible to participate in the company benefits plan. REPORTS TO: SVP Head of Development

SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Construction Management for Cardinal Group Development is responsible for overseeing all active construction projects. This includes pre-development work GMP negotiation day-to-day project oversight and closeout. The VP is also responsible for managing mentoring and creating the work flows for a team of direct report construction managers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to):

  • Pre-development pricing exercises and coordination with Design Management
  • GMP negotiation
  • Day-to-day construction management oversight of active projects
  • Full closeout and turnover of projects

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

  • 10 years minimum construction management experience
  • Experience at large general contractor
  • GMP negotiation

Routine local travel is required to attend training classes client visits or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position. Overnight travel required to attend training property visits and other situations necessary for the accomplishment of special projects that may be assigned from time to time.
