Summary:
MS Technology is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for engineering activities in support of the production targets for components assemblies and machines.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes routings processes and procedures for fabrication assembly and repair of complex components
- Leads product launch activities
- Responsible for the achieving and maintaining targets for Availability Performance and Quality for manufacturing operations at the Technology and Manufacturing Center
- Supports established scopes of work for manufacturing activities
- Leads efforts to identify opportunities for process improvements in machining techniques fixturing approaches material properties tooling/coatings coolants/fluids choice and application techniques and other Lean manufacturing approaches
- Documents potential risks or shortfalls in future state processes
- Leads planning and analysis activities
- Designs and develops manufacturing processes with a cross-functional team utilizing internal and external resources.
- Develops specifications for fabrication materials and equipment
- Leads the design for manufacturing steps in the creation review and approval of engineering packages to be used for fabrication
- Manages work to ensure that deliverables are met within schedule and budget
- Adheres to company policies procedures code of conduct security and environmental and safety program requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Chemical or other related engineering discipline.
- 5 Years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience with lean manufacturing
- Experience with industry manufacturing quality systems. i.e.: NQA-1 ISO-TS AS9001
- Experience with AIAG Core Tools
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Q Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Q or Top Secret security clearance
- Experience in Statistical Analysis
- Experience with composites manufacturing
- Project Management experience
- Centrifuge manufacturing experience is a plus
- Experience with license driven safety significant parts/systems
