How you will make an impact:

If you enjoy helping others with computer/software issues are early in your career and like working collaboratively consider joining Meissner as a Service Desk Coordinator. Youll answer Meissner IT Tech Operations support desk calls monitor and manage support tickets and ensure internal customers receive prompt helpful responses while supporting technicians to complete the service cycle. This role offers exposure to multiple IT functions and opportunities to develop practical technical and customer-service skills.

  • Coordinate incoming incidents and requests for end-user support with workstation hardware and software (examples: barcode scanners monitors label printers error messages PC issues viruses etc.).
  • Document track and monitor incidents and requests in detail within the Meissner ITSM platform ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Ensure IT Operations ticket service level targets are met through proper follow-up and SLA reports.
  • Route escalate and assign tickets appropriately to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Establish and maintain IT asset maintenance schedules in the maintenance software.
  • Monitor and maintain hardware and software inventory licensing and subscriptions.
  • Coordinate procurement shipping receiving and return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of special workstation image backups.
  • Physically monitori server rooms and related equipment (routers UPS etc.).
  • Assist with off-hours maintenance and upgrades.
  • Assist with hardware and software upgrades.
  • Provide feedback on policy and procedure documentation.
  • Identify operational pain points and bottlenecks and collaborate with IT Management to design and implement process improvements.

This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo CA.

The skills and experience youll need:

  • Associates Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. Bachelors preferred.
  • 1 year(s) working experience in a similar position preferred.
  • CompTIA or other relevant certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Windows Client and server operating systems (Active Directory DNS DHCP etc.).
  • Operation of and support of Microsoft Office and office 365 applications.
  • Must be fluent with MS Office software including Outlook Word PowerPoint Excel and have a working knowledge of operating systems and equipment.
  • Must have strong English Language written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and follow up skills for proactive project and task management.
  • Experience translating technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

US BASE PAY SCALE $22.19 - $26.77/hr

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicants experience.
