With over 40 years of semiconductor process control experience chipmakers around the globe rely on KLA to ensure that their fabs ramp next-generation devices to volume production quickly and cost-effectively. Enabling the movement towards advanced chip design KLAs Global Products Group (GPG) which is responsible for creating all of KLAs metrology and inspection products is looking for the best and the brightest research scientist software engineers application development engineers and senior product technology process engineers. First to deliver the best imaging and classification data for every defect or point on any layer at any time. EBeams mission encapsulates its role as the eyes of KLAs product line providing timely information on defects and critical locations on the wafer at the highest spatial resolution possible. Customers use EBeam products alongside KLA patterned and bare wafer inspectors to quickly understand the nature of defects and other imperfections on product wafers and take action to correct the manufacturing process.Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

What Youll Do
- Lead the development deployment and maintenance of ground breaking EBeam tool software.
- Drive multi-functional planning execution tracking and course correction.
- Take on sophisticated software and systemlevel challenges with creativity and persistence.
- Work with applications engineers and marketing to define feature requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to optimize softwarehardware interactions.
- Think beyond softwarepropose comprehensive systemlevel solutions.
- Bring curiosity and interest in physics optics and how electrons shape the world.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education background in Engineering or Software
- Strong experience in software development for sophisticated systems.
- Experience leading a sophisticated software product from conception to delivery.
- Validated ability to solve deep technical problems across software hardware and system boundaries.
- Ability to partner effectively with crossdisciplinary teams (systems hardware applications marketing).
- Comfort working in fastpaced R&D environments where priorities evolve.
- Systemslevel approach: understanding how software hardware and physics fit together.
- Interest or background in physics optics electron beam systems or related fields.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Masters Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelors Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years
